We happened to stay on an evening when there was a pub quiz, this we enjoyed greatly as we are avid quizzers. "The pub is well situated in the pretty village of Ludwell with stunning views from every angle. The pub itself was very well decorated in keeping with it's heritage, the staff were friendly and helpful.

I stayed in a single room at the back (Room 1) which was perfectly serviceable for a business stay, there is also a residents lounge which is a pleasant well-stocked room (books, DVD, video, TV, drinks, sofas).

However the outstanding feature of the the Grove Country Inn is their restaurant and the fabulous food. It would be worth returning for the menu alone, not to mention the breakfast - top notch and hats off to the chef. I particularly like the fact that most of the menu is locally sourced."
